About Us

Giving back and making a difference!

The Baby Roland Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable, non-profit organization that was created to provide first-time mothers in underserved communities with the basic essentials to care for their new addition through our gift basket program. Our "Bundle of Joy" gift basket giveaway takes place annually on the 3rd Saturday of July.

Giving birth to a healthy baby is a true blessing, and we would like to offer our support, community resources, guidance, and educational workshops to help moms through their pregnancy journey.

Mission:

Our mission is to help alleviate some of the anxiety and stresses of first-time parents in underserved communities experiencing challenging times by providing basic baby essentials to care for their newborn.

Vision:

Our vision is to be a community resource, impact, and help as many first-time mothers in the various communities throughout the Chicagoland area.

Our Story

Thank you, March of Dimes Chicago, for giving us a platform to share our story and the opportunity to serve as your 2020 Ambassador Family for the March for Babies.

Meet Our Founders!

Jetaun C. Roland, MSIMC

Founder

Jetaun started The Baby Roland Foundation after the death of her first born son, Owen Christopher Roland Jr. She wanted to honor her son, and keep his name alive by giving back to families in her community. Jetaun felt the need to raise awareness around extreme prematurity, preterm labor, and help families in underserved communities receive the items needed to care for their newborn.
